This is the easiest way to get color HTML codes, at least easiest way i know. I discovered this software couple of years ago. This small software is such a great tool for web designers. It’s a colorpicker. What is a color picker? Using your mouse, you move your mouse cursor onto a place on your screen and it gives you the HTML, HEX, RGB code like in the screenshot on the left side.
There are tons of free sofwares that can replace the ones that you pay. Openoffice is just one of them. It’s a free office suite. It can replace Microsoft Office, means that it lets you do anything from writing an essay to building databases. It’s easy and free. Openoffice. org has released a beta version of next generation OpenOffice. They have done a great job with the software. I was a Microfost Office user as well but after i switched my computer, I had to buy it. It costs $399-$679. This is when I found out about OpenOffice. You go to its website and you just download the software for free.
To download the beta version or find out more about this software. you can go to OpenOffice Beta 3 page.

I have seen this on many other blogs, people are listing why they have a blog or a site on the web. I thought I’d post my reasons to be here. I’m pretty new to this blogging thing that’s taking over the Internet.
According to this article, only technorati is tracking about 120 million blogs, excluding 72 million Chinese blogs. Unfortunately, Google does not disclose the amount of blogs being tracked and it’s probably more than 120 millions.
Why do I blog?
1. I have been using Internet since 1998 and been designing web sites since 2003. This is a blog where I post my web site templates and make them available for download.
2. Internet is a lot different than it was in five years ago. You can pretty much find anything you want (videos, movies, games, pictures and etc). This is a blog where I post about videos, pictures and etc.
3. I travel a lot. This is a blog where I post pictures of places I visit.
4. I use this blog to keep the sites I like recorded some where. Kind of stumbleupon, del.icio.us.
5. I have owned other websites and I have made money through them. Eventually, I’ll be trying to make money out of this blog as well.
How many pages have you stumbled upon? If you check your stumble upon control panel, you can see up to 5000 recent pages that you have visited through stumbleupon. I didn’t even know you can look up these pages before a day ago. If you are using the beta version of your stumble upon user interface, you will have 1000 pages, every page having 10 links.
To see them, you can go to
http://yourusernamehere.stumbleupon.com/stumbles/
or you can get this page going through your control panel.
Ever wondered how many times you have clicked on
? You can’t see the total number of visits since the day one on your home page. Stumble upon only shows how many time you have liked a page. It’s not in your home page. But it’s in somewhere else.
All you have to do is to go to “video.stumbleupon.com“, then log in if you haven’t already. After you log in, you will be able to see the total number of times you clicked on
just under the video on the right side.

I have been using stumble upon since Aug, 2006. It’s been almost two years and the total number of clicks is 28.408. What I’m wondering is that the highest number on stumble upon network. There are people who have over 35 thousand clicks on “I like it”. Maybe they are just doing that to be on top stumbler page. But still they must have around 100 thousand clicks.
Gmail has been adding a lot of new features lately. Some of them has been there for a long time. Gmail team is trying to make the system little bit customisable so people can have their own gmail interface. You can see what you can do with your gmail account by clicking on “Settings” on top left side of your screen. There are bunch of stuff you can do. In this article, I’ll talk about three features that I recently discovered. I know maybe those features have been there for over a year.
Turning Off/On Google Chat
I own more than ten gmail accounts and only one of them is for personal use, rest of the accounts are being used for sites, forums and blogs. I don’t use this feature of Gmail on these non-personal accounts. The problem was the loading part of this application. It would take couple of seconds for it to load and if you have more people in your chat, it would take more than that. So i needed to disable this feature. You can just go to bottom of your screen and click on “turn chat off/on”.
Basic HTML Format
I was introduced to this feature when I used to have a really bad wireless connection. Most of the times, it wouln’t let me log in, it would just time out so Gmail offers you to try to view in Basic HTML format when this happens. So to enable this, you can click on “Basic HTML” that’s next to “turn on/off”.
Use Mobile Version of Gmail
I just discovered this. I can see this becoming handy when you are checking your emails on a public computer that has crappy connection or just a slow system. Simply go to “m.gmail.com” and log in. It will just list all of your emails, that’s it and nothing else. You can still do a lot of things on it such as archiving a mail, adding stars and etc.

Only eight days left until UEFA Champions League. This year’s final is going to be little different. Both of the finalists are from Britain, making it an all English team club final in the history of Champions League for the first time. Also the place where it’s being played is different as well, last couple of years UEFA is trying out new cities. They started going east by selecting Istanbul in 2005. So far, Moscow is the furthest east they UEFA went to hold this prestigious game.
