How many pages have you stumbled upon? If you check your stumble upon control panel, you can see up to 5000 recent pages that you have visited through stumbleupon. I didn’t even know you can look up these pages before a day ago. If you are using the beta version of your stumble upon user interface, you will have 1000 pages, every page having 10 links.

To see them, you can go to

http://yourusernamehere.stumbleupon.com/stumbles/

or you can get this page going through your control panel.

Ever wondered how many times you have clicked on  ? You can’t see the total number of visits since the day one on your home page. Stumble upon only shows how many time you have liked a page. It’s not in your home page. But it’s in somewhere else.

All you have to do is to go to “video.stumbleupon.com“, then log in if you haven’t already.  After you log in, you will be able to see the total number of times you clicked on just under the video on the right side.

I have been using stumble upon since Aug, 2006.  It’s been almost two years and the total number of clicks is 28.408.  What I’m wondering is that the highest number on stumble upon network.  There are people who have over 35 thousand clicks on “I like it”. Maybe they are just doing that to be on top stumbler page. But still they must have around 100 thousand clicks.

Gmail has been adding a lot of new features lately. Some of them has been there for a long time. Gmail team is trying to make the system little bit customisable so people can have their own gmail interface. You can see what you can do with your gmail account by clicking on “Settings” on top left side of your screen. There are bunch of stuff you can do. In this article, I’ll talk about three features that I recently discovered. I know maybe those features have been there for over a year.

Turning Off/On Google Chat

I own more than ten gmail accounts and only one of them is for personal use, rest of the accounts are being used for sites, forums and blogs. I don’t use this feature of Gmail on these non-personal accounts. The problem was the loading part of this application. It would take couple of seconds for it to load and if you have more people in your chat, it would take more than that. So i needed to disable this feature. You can just go to bottom of your screen and click on “turn chat off/on”.

Basic HTML Format

I was introduced to this feature when I used to have a really bad wireless connection. Most of the times, it wouln’t let me log in, it would just time out so Gmail offers you to try to view in Basic HTML format when this happens. So to enable this, you can click on “Basic HTML” that’s next to “turn on/off”.

Use Mobile Version of Gmail

I just discovered this. I can see this becoming handy when you are checking your emails on a public computer that has crappy connection or just a slow system.  Simply go to “m.gmail.com” and log in.  It will just list all of your emails, that’s it and nothing else. You can still do a lot of things on it such as archiving a mail, adding stars and etc.

1- Simple Machines Forum (SMF)

There are a lot of changes from its previous version 1.1.4, Soon they will be releasing a stable version for SMF 2.0.  SMF offers wide range of add-ons and themes that you can download from their site. 2 - PHP Bulletin Board (PHPBB)

One of the first PHP and MYSQL driven forum software also the most popular forum software. PHP 2.0 was big success and it’s been around the web for long time. But time has done its job.  A lot of people had the chance to use this software at least once in their web experience.  As time went by, a lot of bots were developed and started to spam boards all over web. After a year of waiting, PHPBB team released its latest version PHPBB3. They made a lot of changes and some still claims that new Admin Panel is hard to manage it. But still, it’s great software.

3 - MYBB

MyBB is another software that has been receiving good reviews from a lot of people. It provides some good features beside its wide range of themes and modifications. MYBB community growing fast. Detailed stats are available at the site. MYBB has been around for sometime now. MYBB developers started XMB. They left and started MYBB. They are certainly in the race with larger systems like PHPBB.

4 - Extreme Message Board (XMB)

XMB team has been lost after its team left working for this project. Some took over and tried to continue and but never got on the road. I have used one of their last version. Product they provide is not bad. Unlike many others, It’s easy to edit. For instance, their theme is very user friendly and file free. However, XMB team has been little slow fixing their security holes. There are some known bugs need to be fixed.
